SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream 20ml

This SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream 20ml builds around Bakuchiol at 5,000 ppm, a plant-derived retinol alternative that helps with the appearance of wrinkles without the sensitivity retinol can bring, particularly around the eyes where skin runs thinner. Fermented Centella (Lactobacillus/Centella Asiatica Extract Ferment Filtrate) and Centella Asiatica Extract at 7,388 ppm support the formula, alongside Hydrolyzed Extensin, described on the label as carrot collagen, and Ceramide NP for barrier support.

Why You'll Love It

• Bakuchiol at 5,000 ppm is a plant-derived alternative to retinol, generally better tolerated around the eye area where skin is thinner.
• Fermented Centella and Centella Asiatica Extract at 7,388 ppm bring the plant's own active compounds, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside and Asiatic Acid, into a concentrated eye formula.
• Hydrolyzed Extensin (carrot collagen) and Ceramide NP support the skin's structure and barrier around a delicate area.
• Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 joins as an additional peptide for the eye area's specific concerns.

FAQ

Q: What is Bakuchiol and how is it different from retinol?
Ans: Bakuchiol is a plant-derived ingredient that works similarly to retinol for the appearance of wrinkles, but it's generally considered gentler and better tolerated, particularly around sensitive areas like the eyes.

Q: Can I use this eye cream every day?
Ans: Yes, Bakuchiol is generally milder than retinol, so daily use around the eye area is typical, though everyone's skin responds differently.

Q: Should I apply eye cream before or after my regular moisturiser?
Ans: Apply this eye cream first, before your face cream or moisturiser, so it can absorb directly into the eye area.

Q: What does "carrot collagen" mean in the ingredients?
Ans: It refers to Hydrolyzed Extensin, a plant-derived ingredient the brand describes this way, included to support the skin's structure around the eye area.
