Medicube Deep Vita C Pad 150g

Medicube Deep Vita C Pad 150g packages the brand's Vitamin C brightening concept into a pre-soaked pad, built around Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Water and the stable Vitamin C derivative 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. The textured pad surface does double duty, sweeping away residue while delivering the toner underneath.

Why You'll Love It

• Pre-soaked pad format makes daily Vitamin C use simple and mess-free
• 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid offers a more stable form of Vitamin C than pure ascorbic acid
• Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Water adds antioxidant support
• Gluconolactone provides gentle exfoliation alongside the textured pad surface
• Niacinamide and Adenosine support tone and texture over time
• Coptis Japonica and Spearmint extracts add a light calming, refreshing element

Key Ingredients

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a stable derivative of Vitamin C that is less prone to oxidising than pure ascorbic acid, making it easier to keep effective in a pad format used daily. Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Water brings additional antioxidant and nourishing benefits. Gluconolactone, a PHA, offers gentle exfoliation suited to daily use without the irritation risk of stronger acids. Niacinamide supports a more even, brighter-looking tone.

How to Use

After cleansing, take one pad and sweep it gently across the face, avoiding direct contact with the eye area. Use once or twice daily as your first toning step, following with serum and moisturiser. Because this pad contains a Vitamin C derivative and gentle exfoliating PHA, daily SPF the following morning is recommended to protect freshly refined skin.

Suitable For

Normal, combination and oily skin looking for a daily brightening and light exfoliating step, particularly those wanting Vitamin C benefits without the stability concerns of pure ascorbic acid serums.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this pad every day?
Ans: Yes, it is for daily use as a first toning step, though those new to Vitamin C or gentle acids may want to start with once a day and build up.

Q: Do I need to follow this with sunscreen?
Ans: Yes, since the formula includes a Vitamin C derivative and a gentle exfoliating PHA, using SPF the following morning is recommended to protect the skin.

Q: Is the pad texture rough on the skin?
Ans: The textured surface is made to gently remove residue and buildup without needing a separate physical scrub, so it should feel like a light polish rather than an abrasive scrub.

Q: Can this be used alongside other Vitamin C products?
Ans: It can generally be layered with other brightening products, but introducing multiple actives at once is best done gradually to see how your skin responds.

Q: What does 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid do differently from regular Vitamin C?
Ans: It is a more stable derivative of Vitamin C that holds up better over time and repeated air exposure, which makes it well suited to a pre-soaked pad format used daily.
