Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream 55g

Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream 55g uses a customisable dual-texture format: a Vitamin Capsule containing 50% Sea Buckthorn Extract, 5% Niacinamide and Ascorbic Acid, paired with a transparent gel infused with Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E. Mixing the two only right before applying is made to keep the Vitamin C fresher and more effective than it would stay in a standard pre-blended cream.

Why You'll Love It

• Customisable dual-texture format: Vitamin Capsule plus transparent gel
• 50% Sea Buckthorn Extract in the capsule for antioxidant support
• 5% Niacinamide alongside Ascorbic Acid for brightening
• Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E in the gel enhance stability and add antioxidant protection
• Encapsulation keeps Vitamin C fresher than a pre-mixed formula
• Customisable capsule-to-gel ratio to suit your skin's needs day to day

Key Ingredients

Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Extract is included at 50% concentration in the Vitamin Capsule, rich in antioxidants that help protect skin from everyday environmental stress. Niacinamide at 5% works alongside Ascorbic Acid, or pure Vitamin C, to even out tone and add radiance. Ferulic Acid is included in the gel component specifically to enhance the stability and efficacy of the Vitamin C, providing additional antioxidant protection against oxidative stress and UV-related damage.

How to Use

Mix the Vitamin Capsule and transparent gel in a ratio suited to your skin, increasing the gel for a lighter feel or the capsule for more hydration and elasticity support. Apply the mixture morning and evening to face and neck, after your serum step. Because this cream contains Vitamin C and gentle exfoliating Gluconolactone, follow with sunscreen the next morning to protect treated skin.

Suitable For

Normal, combination and dry skin looking for a brightening, antioxidant-rich moisturiser, particularly those who want fresher Vitamin C delivery than a standard pre-mixed formula provides.

FAQ

Q: Why is the Vitamin C kept separate in a capsule rather than pre-mixed?
Ans: Vitamin C, particularly pure Ascorbic Acid, tends to oxidise and lose effectiveness once exposed to air. Keeping it encapsulated until you mix it with the gel helps preserve its potency for longer.

Q: How much capsule versus gel should I use?
Ans: Use more gel for a lighter, less intensive feel, or more capsule if you want stronger brightening and hydration support, adjusting the ratio to how your skin feels that day.

Q: Does this cream require sunscreen afterward?
Ans: Yes, daily SPF the following morning is recommended given the Vitamin C and gentle exfoliating PHA content in the formula.

Q: Can this be used with other Vitamin C products in my routine?
Ans: It can be layered with other brightening products, but it is best to introduce new actives gradually to see how your skin responds rather than combining several strong Vitamin C products at once.

Q: Is this cream suitable for sensitive skin?
Ans: The brand reports a low irritation index in its own testing, but as with any Vitamin C or acid-containing product, a patch test is recommended for sensitive or reactive skin.
