Working with the marker format

The Marker Tint gives a light, watery colour application. Use the tip to control the lip boundary or place colour centrally for a diffused look. Let one pass settle before judging whether another is needed. Keep the marker-style applicator clean and close the product after use so it is ready for the next application.

Control the colour intensity

Use this ETUDE lip tint for either a softly diffused lip or a more defined application. Start at the centre, where you can judge the colour before taking it towards the lip line. The final effect depends on the selected shade, your natural lip colour and the amount applied.

How to use

You can create a full cover lips by applying it along the lip line, or you can create gradient lips by tapping it lightly in the centre of the lips and spreading it evenly.

Apply to clean lips, keeping the first layer light. Blend the edge while the product is still workable, then let it settle before adding more. For a precise outline, work with the applicator tip instead of pressing the full applicator against the corners of the mouth.

Formula and finish

• Glycerin: A humectant that binds moisture, helping the formula maintain a hydrated feel without adding an oil layer.
• Butylene glycol: A solvent and humectant that helps distribute ingredients through the formula and contributes to moisture retention.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose between a stain effect and a defined outline?

For a softer result, blend a small amount outward from the centre. For more definition, use the tip to follow the lip shape before filling in with a controlled layer.

Can I create a gradient lip?

Place a little this tint at the centre and soften it outward before it sets. Keep less product near the edges, then deepen the centre if you want a more visible gradient.

How do I get a more defined lip?

Trace the lip shape carefully with this tint, then fill the centre with a light layer. Build the colour gradually so the outline stays controlled without excess product collecting at the corners.
