BBIA Downy Cheek - #3 Downy Apricot

Product and option details

• Brand: BBIA
• Product type: Blush / Contour
• Option: Apricot

A cream-blush application

Downy Cheek uses a cream format, so the application works best with small, controlled amounts. Tap the colour onto a prepared base and blend the edges while it remains workable. Build gradually before setting heavily with powder, since a dry powder layer underneath can make a cream harder to spread. Choose the numbered Downy shade shown in this listing.

Placement and blending

This BBIA cheek colour lets you place colour or reflection where it complements the rest of your makeup. Start with a small amount on the intended area and blend the boundaries before building intensity. Check the result in natural light so the placement reads clearly without a hard edge.

How to use

With your finger or puff, apply it around the cheeks that come out slightly when you smile.

Choose a clean tool suited to the product's powder, cream or liquid texture. Use light pressure over an existing base so coverage underneath stays in place. Build one area at a time and compare both sides before adding more colour.

Formula and finish

• Hydrogenated polyisobutene: An emollient that helps create a smooth, cushioned feel, particularly in glossy and oil-rich textures.
• Silica: A texture-modifying powder used to influence slip, absorption and the feel of the finished cosmetic.
• Mica: A mineral powder used in makeup to contribute slip and, depending on the pigment treatment, visible reflection.
• Polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate: An emulsifying and texture-supporting ingredient used in oil-rich cosmetic formulas to help their components work together.

Frequently asked questions

Is Downy Cheek a loose powder blush?

This is the cream-blush format. Use a clean fingertip or suitable tool and build in light layers rather than loading a powder brush as you would for a loose blush.

How can I avoid a strong edge?

Blend the boundary of this cheek colour with a clean tool before adding more product. Keeping less colour at the outside edge makes the finish easier to soften.

Should I apply it before or after my base?

Use this cheek colour in the order suited to its texture. Cream and liquid products generally blend most easily before a heavy powder layer; powder formats need a dry, evenly prepared surface.

Which option does this listing identify?

The listed option is Apricot. Match the complete option name when comparing BBIA products. A similar product name or neighbouring shade number does not establish the same colour, format or pack.

Which ingredients help identify the formula?

The ingredient declaration includes Hydrogenated polyisobutene, Silica and Mica. These are selected formula ingredients, not a separate treatment or a statement of concentration. Read the complete list below when checking the product against ingredients you already use.
