Abelty Rice Squalane Glow Double Serum 50ml

Abelty Rice Squalane Serum states two of its key actives right on the ingredient list: squalane at 50,000ppm and niacinamide at 20,000ppm. That kind of stated concentration is unusual outside more clinical-leaning brands, and it gives a clear read on why the formula is called a 'double serum,' since squalane handles barrier support and niacinamide handles tone in roughly equal measure. Rice bran water and rice germ extract, though present in smaller amounts, tie the formula back to its name and add a further conditioning layer.

Why You'll Love It

• Squalane stated at 50,000ppm, a concentration high enough to be listed directly rather than buried in a long ingredient list.
• Niacinamide at 20,000ppm, working alongside the squalane for a genuine dual-action 'double serum' formula.
• Rice bran water and rice germ extract included for extra conditioning, tying the formula back to its name.
• Lightweight texture, made to layer under moisturiser rather than replace it.

Key Ingredients

• Squalane (50,000ppm): a lightweight, skin-identical lipid that supports the moisture barrier without feeling heavy.
• Niacinamide (20,000ppm): supports a more even-looking tone at a stated, clinically relevant concentration.
• Rice bran water and rice germ extract: botanical extracts included for extra conditioning, tied to the product's rice-focused name.

FAQ

Q: Why does the ingredient list show ppm numbers?
Ans: Ppm, or parts per million, states the exact concentration of an ingredient. Abelty includes this for squalane and niacinamide so the strength of the formula isn't left to guesswork.

Q: What does 'double serum' mean here?
Ans: It refers to the formula working on two fronts at once, barrier support from squalane and tone support from niacinamide, rather than one active carrying the whole product.

Q: Can this be used both morning and night?
Ans: Yes, the lightweight texture is suited to a twice-daily routine.

Q: Is this serum suitable for oily skin?
Ans: Squalane is a lightweight, non-comedogenic lipid generally well tolerated by oily skin, though very oily skin types may prefer to patch test first given the concentration is on the higher side.
