Centellian24 Derma Shield Vital Capsule Sun Essence 40ml

Centellian24 Vital Capsule Sun Essence takes a different formulation route to the brand's Derma Shield Sun Cream, using a chemical UV filter combination, homosalate, octocrylene, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, made to an OTC drug monograph rather than titanium dioxide's mineral approach. Ectoin and geranium flower oil support the calming side of the formula, while caprylyl methicone keeps the texture light and essence-like rather than sitting as a heavier cream.

Why You'll Love It

• Chemical UV filter combination, homosalate, octocrylene, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, made to an OTC drug formulation.
• Lightweight, essence-like finish, using caprylyl methicone rather than the heavier feel of a mineral cream sunscreen.
• The brand's centella complex included, asiaticoside and madecassic acid, alongside ectoin for extra calming support.
• Suited to daily wear, particularly for anyone who prefers a chemical filter's lighter finish over a mineral sunscreen's cast.

FAQ

Q: How is this different from the Derma Shield Sun Cream?
Ans: This essence uses a chemical UV filter combination for a lighter, faster-absorbing finish, while the Sun Cream leads with titanium dioxide, a mineral filter often preferred for reactive skin.

Q: Why does the product say OTC?
Ans: OTC refers to an over-the-counter drug formulation, meaning the sunscreen filters are regulated as active drug ingredients under that framework rather than purely cosmetic ingredients.

Q: Do I need to wait after applying before going outside?
Ans: Yes, the brand's instructions recommend applying around 30 minutes before UV exposure to allow the filters to settle.

Q: Can Centellian24 Derma Shield Vital Capsule Sun Essence 40ml be used alongside other centella asiatica products?
Ans: Yes, it is designed to layer well within a wider centella-focused routine, and pairs naturally with other centellian24 products for a more complete effect.
