TOCOBO Cica Calming Serum 50ml

Tocobo Cica Calming Serum 50ml is built for skin that flares up at the first sign of stress, whether that is a new actives routine, weather change, or a long week of screen time and central heating. The formula runs on a five percent centella asiatica complex alongside a multi-molecular hyaluronic acid blend, so it can settle visible redness while still pushing moisture into drier patches. Bifida and lactobacillus ferment lysates work quietly in the background to support a stronger skin barrier over repeated use. It has a gel-cream feel that absorbs within a minute, which means it layers cleanly under a heavier moisturiser or straight under SPF without any pilling.

Why You'll Love It

• Calms visible redness fast: the centella complex is formulated at a meaningful concentration rather than a token dose, so flushed or stressed skin looks settled sooner.
• Feels hydrating, not heavy: five types of hyaluronic acid work at different molecular weights to hold water at the surface and deeper in the skin, without the tacky finish some cica serums leave behind.
• Supports a stressed barrier: bifida and lactobacillus ferment lysates are fermentation-derived ingredients associated with a calmer, more resilient skin barrier.
• Keeps blemish-prone skin fresh: tea tree leaf extract is included at a supporting level, useful for combination and oily skin dealing with occasional congestion.
• Layers cleanly under makeup: the fast-absorbing gel-cream leaves no residue, so foundation or SPF applied afterwards sits smoothly rather than sliding.

Key Ingredients

• Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract: the core calming ingredient behind the cica complex, paired with asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid from the same plant.
• Hyaluronic Acid (5 forms): sodium hyaluronate through to hydrolyzed and crosspolymer forms, layering hydration at different depths of the skin.
• Niacinamide: supports a more even-looking tone and works alongside the ceramide and beta-glucan content for barrier comfort.
• Bifida Ferment Lysate: a fermented ingredient included for its role in supporting skin barrier function.

FAQ

Q: Is Tocobo Cica Calming Serum good for sensitive skin?
Ans: Yes. The centella and ceramide content is for calming and barrier support, and the fragrance level is kept light, though anyone with a known reaction to parfum should patch test first.

Q: Can I use this serum every day?
Ans: It is formulated for twice-daily use, morning and night, as a regular step between toner and moisturiser.

Q: Does this serum help with redness?
Ans: The five percent centella complex is included specifically to help calm the look of redness and irritation over consistent use.

Q: Can I layer this with vitamin C or retinol?
Ans: Yes, it works well underneath actives as a buffering step, since the hyaluronic acid and panthenol content helps cushion drier or more reactive skin.

Q: Does it leave a sticky finish?
Ans: No. The gel-cream texture is designed to sink in within about a minute, so it sits comfortably under sunscreen or makeup.
