About this Product
Abib Blemish Foam Cleanser Heartleaf Foam 150ml
Abib Heartleaf Cleanser pairs salicylic acid with the brand's signature heartleaf extract, positioning it specifically for blemish-prone skin rather than as a general daily wash. The surfactant base, sodium cocoyl isethionate and coco-betaine, is chosen for being gentler than harsher sulfate-based cleansers, so the salicylic acid can do its job without the cleanser itself feeling stripping.
Why You'll Love It
- Salicylic acid included, for blemish-prone skin rather than general daily cleansing alone.
- Heartleaf and centella asiatica extract support the brand's usual calming focus even in a cleanser.
- Gentle surfactant base, sodium cocoyl isethionate and coco-betaine, chosen to avoid over-stripping.
- 150ml size, sized for daily morning and evening use.
Key Ingredients
- Salicylic Acid: supports blemish-prone skin by working within the pores as the cleanser is used.
- Houttuynia Cordata (heartleaf) Extract: the brand's core calming ingredient, carried into this cleansing format.
- Centella Asiatica Extract: adds a further calming ingredient alongside the heartleaf and salicylic acid.

FAQ
Q: Is this cleanser too strong for daily use?
Ans: The salicylic acid content is balanced with a gentle surfactant base specifically so it can be used daily, though very reactive skin may prefer to start with once-daily use.
Q: Can this be used as a first cleanse for makeup removal?
Ans: It's formulated as a foaming cleanser rather than an oil-based first cleanse, so makeup-wearers may want to pair it with a separate cleansing oil beforehand for a proper double cleanse.
Q: Will this dry out my skin?
Ans: The formula is built with gentler surfactants than many salicylic acid cleansers use, though as with any blemish-focused cleanser, keeping an eye on how your skin responds is worthwhile.
Q: Is this suitable for sensitive skin that also gets blemishes?
Ans: Heartleaf and centella asiatica extract are included specifically to support comfort, but anyone with very reactive skin should patch test given the salicylic acid content.
